CMSEOK connects grassroots enterprise needs with decision-makers, development partners and opportunities that strengthen the sector.

Our role spans advocacy, knowledge, resource mobilisation and hands-on capacity building for member groups and associations.

Our mandate

Eight ways we serve the MSE sector.

  1. Build the capacity of micro and small enterprises.
  2. Influence the formulation and review of policies and programs for the benefit of the sector.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of policies and programmes that affect micro and small enterprises, taking appropriate action where needed.
  4. Champion the rights and interests of micro and small enterprises in decision-making spaces.
  5. Conduct research and surveys to inform enterprise programming, priorities and action.
  6. Participate in mobilising resources for development of the micro and small enterprises sector.
  7. Promote and market products made by micro and small enterprises through opportunities such as exhibitions.
  8. Promote innovation and product development by micro and small enterprises.
